IT’S a couple of days before I embark on a week of gigs as the actual tour DJ for my very good friends Gad Whip, promoting their Post-Internet Blues long playing-record around Germany and Switzerland, and I’m so excited I could spit.
I put together a promo mix showcasing some of the stuff I’ll be playing – straight up reggae, dubby punk funk, post punk and bits of hip hop, all sorts really – but mostly old stuff that sounds new, plus a few new records that sound like they’re old.
It is very much a labour of love so I hope you like it – and maybe we’ll see you at one of the gigs.
